Communications



Each IHOP location is independently owned and operated. Flipmeastack is a management consultant company hired by independently owned and operated IHOP franchised locations. Flipmeastack has no ownership of the individual IHOP locations and is not a parent company.

Please review the www.flipmeastack.com website regularly and review all email communications.


Check your Flipmeastack provided email daily for regular communications and acknowledge receipt for those requesting response (cc: copy your DM/DO).

FLipmeastack provided email to client IHOP gm's



Digital communications are a necessity and responsibility in all business.

As a Flipmeastack client IHOP, an email has been provided to the franchised IHOP GM to help assist in this process. The following protocols must be adhered to:


The GM or acting GM in charge of the IHOP is responsible for the designated Flipmeastack.com email which should not be shared with any employee, crew chief, assistant manager, etc. unless otherwise authorized in writing.


Your designated flipmeastack.com email address is to be utilized only for Flipmeastack/IHOP inter-office communications and accessing designated authorized websites.


Your Flipmeastack.com provided email is not authorized for contacting customers, employees, or vendors (unless otherwise directed and approved in writing by Flipmeastack representative or your IHOP Franchisee of Record).


Personal email is not an acceptable or authorized method of communication in any way representing either the IHOP franchise or Flipmeastack company without the express written authorization of the IHOP franchisee of record and/or Flipmeastack President.


The GM is required to log in and out each time they access any website, passwords may not be stored or saved in the POS system/iPad/Laptop or shared.


Be responsible and keep track of your logins and passwords provided/created.


The GM is also responsible for any laptop or provided iPad as it is the property of Flipmeastack, Inc.


When there are communications applicable to client IHOP locations, Flipmeastack may send out a blast or individual email. Read all emails thoroughly and respond as required or when applicable. Unless a response is noted as required, it is not necessary to send one. On any required email acknowledgement, reply directly to that email and cc your DM/DO.


Each IHOP client location has a designated District Manager and they are your first point of contact. If you have a question or comment, please check with them first. You may call and/or send them an email too. If they don't have the answer they will look into it and follow up with you. They may also escalate the matter.


Don't forget as well to have your contacts list posted at all times for your independent IHOP location employees knowledge. Remember the franchised corporation is the franchisee for your independent IHOP location. IHOP is the franchisor.


You may be CC'd on an email sent to your District Manager, Director of Ops, or any member of the Flipmeastack team. This is to keep you in the loop of that communication. Again, if you have a question or comment, follow back up with your District Manager first. It is required you CC the DO and President of Flipmeastack, but your DM still is your first point of contact.


Important/Urgent emails will be noted as such. This may include IHOP food recalls, safety and security alerts, financial inquiries, audits, etc. So check emails daily and reply accordingly. 


Urgent matters must be called in immediately to your designated Flipmeastack DM/DO on their mobile number. If you are unable to reach the DM timely, contact the DO, or COO.


You may not represent the company/corporation/franchisee, IHOP, or Flipmeastack in any way with a personal or Flipmeastack designated email on social media, video recording or photos, without the express written permission of your independent IHOP franchised corporation/IHOP, and/or Flipmeastack President.


Furthermore, sending or receiving text communications are not authorized in any way with your franchised IHOP location employees, guests, or vendors.
